Summer Camp, June 12-18, 2011, Skymont Scout Reservation
It’s hard to believe that it’s time again to talk about summer camp. Even though summer camp is not until June, there is several things that need to be done ahead to insure that our troop attends and has a great week. The scouts that attended the yearly planning meeting back in August decided on Skymont Scout Reservation which is located in Northwest of Altamont, TN. It Northwest of Chattanooga aprox. 650 miles from Winter Springs.
I will be sending out several emails pertaining to summer camp over the next several months. At a later date, we will have a scout / parent / leaders meeting to help make sure that everyone is on track.
Quick summary: Payment schedule (deposit is made) Once deposits are made, we will start taking merit badge selections from the scouts to insure that they get on the list before the classes fill up. Review scout / leaders current medical forms. (All scouts / registered leaders must have a current medical form on file to attend any scouting activities.) Camp $240.00, Gas $50.00, Food $20.00, Mrt Bdg $20.00 = $330.00 per scout.
Leader fees are $90.00 per leader
